When the documents you need to have destroyed are too many or too sensitive to transport to one of our three locations, Lone Star Document Management Solutions can bring our onsite shredding service to you.
We will bring a truck to your office or facility, collect the documents in a locked bin, and shred them in the truck before leaving your premises. Your documents remain with our Onsite expert throughout the entire process, without the expert actually touching any of the documents. A closed-circuit camera system allows you to watch the documents being shredded, for added peace of mind that your sensitive information is thoroughly and securely destroyed. Before leaving your location, we will give you a Certificate of Destruction for your records.
There is a misconception that in this age of technology, identity theft only occurs electronically. A study published in the February, 2018 issue of American Journal of Managed Care showed that paper and film were the leading cause of data breaches in hospitals. Your documents carry the same risk of a data breach if they contain any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) of your employees, customers, or clients. Lone Star can help you securely destroy all documents in compliance with all federal and state privacy laws.
Office shredders take employee time and office space while not shredding to the unrecoverable degree of industrial shredders on our onsite shredding service trucks. Once documents are shredded, paper shreds need to be recycled rather than put in the dumpster. Lone Star recycles all of the paper that it shreds, sending 14 to 20 truckloads of shredded paper to be recycled each month.
Lone Star Document Management Solutions offers shredding at all three of our location, yet there are many advantages to using our onsite shredding service.
It is not always convenient for a busy business to transport their documents to one of our locations. Our trucks come to your location and shred your documents before we leave your premises. Choose between regularly scheduled shredding appointments, or scheduling as-needed.
The shredder within our truck is powerful enough to handle all kinds of paper including laminated paper, file folders, and cardboard. There is no need to go through your documents to remove paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, or staples.
Having faster access to information improves customer service as the answers can be retrieved within minutes rather than hours.
Our onsite shredding service helps you stay compliant with all federal and state privacy laws, by destroying any Personal Identifiable Information (PII) in your documents. We adhere to all industry regulations to ensure that your information is securely destroyed. Shredding onsite gives you or a trusted employee the opportunity to witness the destruction of your documents to ensure compliance.
All of our Onsite experts are pre-screened and certified per standards set by our certification with NAID (National Association of Information Destruction). You can have the peace of mind knowing that your documents are secure in the hands of our experts.
The retractable bin tunnel on our Shred-Tech trucks keeps your confidential documents in an enclosed structure away from the elements and eliminates the risk of the bin falling and spilling documents.
Having your documents shredded onsite adds a level of security in that the documents are not transported before destruction. You can witness your documents being destroyed.
Our trucks hold between eight and ten tons of paper, depending on the truck. Once the shredder within the cab of the truck shreds your documents smaller than any office shredder is capable of shredding them, they are mixed with other documents. This leaves your documents impossible to put back together.
After your documents have been shredded, our expert will create and give to you a Certificate of Destruction showing that your documents have been securely destroyed. This formal document can be used in audits or lawsuits to prove that your documents have been destroyed.
Whether you need a regularly scheduled onsite shredding service, or a one-time service during a purge of files, contact Lone Star to bring our onsite shredding service to your business or residence.
